1. Click here to read about how to change the java version on the server.

2. Click here to download a legacy version of PaperMC server Jar(1.17.1)

3. Rename the jar to custom-java17.jar (remember its case sensitive)

4. upload custom-java17.jar to the root directory of the server.

5. Go to the control panel and on the servers page change SERVER TYPE to Custom Server Type -> Custom JAR Java17
